About Sarah Yin

 Passionate Performer and Educator

Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. Sarah Yin loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. Ever since a young age, Sarah Yin has found great joy and satisfaction in making music and sharing it with fans and friends all over the world. Conviction for her teaching piano is to nurture musical youngsters to become the journeymen in search of  truth.

 

Her lesson focuses are classical composers, childhood, jazz rhythm and harmony and world music through Suzuki philosophy and Dalcroze pedagogy. She was certified to teach through all seven levels by Suzuki Association of Americas and trained by Caroline Fraser in California at Holy Names University. She  took her Dalcroze training with Dr. Jeremy Dittus at Dalcroze School of Rockies. She also achieved Advanced Certificate of Berklee College of Music concentrating on Composing, Orchestration, Jazz, and Reharmonisation.

 

Fine selected repertoires and sensorial accumulated steps of teaching are her best tools to bring out talents within children, nurture good learning habits, and empower with life passion for music study. Ms. Sarah Yin believes in the quotes from Suzuki philosophy - Perhaps it is music that will  save the world.  Talent can be nurtured by LOVE.
